Creative Leadership
Bold Creative Direction. Award-Winning Production Design. Engaging Storytelling That Connects

Casey Crowdis, Creative Director
I lead creative teams with purpose and a clear narrative vision. Whether guiding a national campaign or a feature film, I help shape ideas that connect people to something bigger.
Strategic Thinking
Clear strategy is the foundation of compelling work. I translate big-picture goals into creative direction that’s focused, aligned, and actionable.
Integrated Storytelling
Every touchpoint is a chance to tell the story. I shape cohesive narratives across mediums — from campaign messaging to spatial and environmental design.
Creative Integrity
Leadership isn’t just about vision. It’s about consistency, trust, and follow-through. I create space for teams to do their best work with clarity and confidence.

Creative Director
Voyage LTC
Led, Shaped, and Rebuilt from Within
At Voyage, I stepped into a fractured marketing department and a company wanting to connect its 500+ employees to a deeper purpose. What started as a creative leadership role quickly became a deeper transformation, realigning language, culture, and communication with clarity and care.
• Led the development of internal campaigns that reframed day-to-day work as purpose-driven care, improving emotional connection across departments
• Translated abstract values into tangible creative expressions that helped staff see their role in the bigger mission
• Elevated the internal brand voice from procedural to personal, giving teams language and tools to communicate with authenticity
• Partnered with HR and operations to support culture-building efforts, including staff recognition and new employee onboarding experiences
• Rebuilt a previously stifled and demoralized marketing team into a confident, high-functioning creative unit by removing barriers and leading with trust
I wasn’t there to sell a product, but to help people reconnect with why their work mattered. And when that connection clicked, residents felt it in the care they received.
Production Designer
TSET Talk About Tobacco Campaign

An award-winning campaign honored for its bold, story-driven execution by the Heartland Emmys, Tellys, and ADDYs.
This campaign used emotionally grounded fictional narratives to challenge adults to talk to kids about tobacco. I worked closely with the Creative Director, agency team, and production crew to bring each story to life. One of the more ambitious builds—Over the Wall—featured two bedrooms set back-to-back with a dividing wall, allowing a robotic camera to capture both performances in a seamless emotional arc. The technical precision required to support that movement without compromising realism was a defining moment of the campaign’s design.
• Designed and built sets that supported each story’s emotional arc
• Engineered a mirrored bedroom build to support a seamless robotic camera move
• Worked with agency and production to ground fictional narratives in cinematic realism
• Helped realize a campaign that earned statewide recognition and national creative awards
This was emotionally honest work, anchored in lived experience that deserved its accolades.
Lead Designer
Tulsa Union Depot
A modern vision that honors Tulsa’s historic heart.
The Tulsa Depot redesign began as a collaborative commission and evolved into a personal passion project. Tasked with transforming a historic landmark into a revitalized cultural space, I designed a new Art Deco–inspired interior that honors the spirit of the era without replicating it. The result is a space that feels both timeless and newly imagined.
• Developed a bold interior concept rooted in Art Deco forms and designs
• Balanced historical reverence with creative freedom, avoiding replica design
• Worked closely with architects and stakeholders through 18 months of active development
• Positioned the space to function as both a tribute to the past and a modern community anchor
Though currently on hiatus, this project remains one of the most personally fulfilling design journeys I’ve undertaken.
Supervising Art Director
Reagan Feature Film
Design across the ages in this historical epic
Though officially credited as Supervising Art Director, I was deeply embedded in all creative and logistical layers: from developing initial concepts and mood boards to drafting plans, managing budgets, and ensuring cohesion across multiple time periods.I worked closely with the Production Designer and stepped into key decision-making roles when needed, acting as the connection between creative vision and on-the-ground execution.
• Oversaw key phases of the art department for this large-scale historical biopic, spanning preproduction, set design, and on-location execution.
• Directed a large team under tight turnarounds and maintained visual integrity throughout.
• Led design execution for key period sets, including mood boards, scaled drawings, and sourcing
• Developed visual continuity across storylines spanning the 1920s through the 1980s and into modern day
• Managed many aspects of the film, collaborating especially closely with department heads of the Art team
• Oversaw construction planning and creative problem-solving during tight timelines
• Contributed to a film that received national distribution and earned a Family Film Award
Filming during the height of the pandemic added a layer of complexity to an already ambitious production. Clear direction and creative problem-solving were essential from day one.
Art Director & Lead Designer
Italian Wedding Studio Transformation
A soundstage transformed into an Italian wedding
The studio owner dreamed of getting married in Italy, but international travel wasn’t possible. So we teamed up to bring Italy to them.Designer Dawn Ferry created the original concept. I collaborated with her to refine the vision and then led the transformation of a blank production studio into a fully immersive Italian piazza.
• Refined the original concept into a buildable plan and detailed layout
• Directed the design and construction of a full-scale Italian-style environment
• Led set construction, sculptural elements, and scenic treatments
• Delivered a space that felt romantic and transportive
This wasn’t just a rewarding build. It was one of those rare projects where the process felt as good as the outcome.
Production Designer
Electric Nostalgia Feature Film
Atmospheric lo-fi sci-fi about memory and identity
Electric Nostalgia was a low-budget science fiction feature with high creative ambition. As Production Designer, I worked closely with the team to shape the film’s visual world, supporting a story that unfolds like a psychological ghost story set in a near-future reality. With limited resources and a small team, every design choice had to pull double duty. Each element built tone, character, and tension without relying on spectacle. From dreamlike interiors to subtle tech integration, the visuals helped anchor the film’s fractured, memory-based narrative.
• Collaborated closely with the Director to establish the film’s visual environment, tone, and atmosphere
• Sourced and repurposed materials over several months to create set dressing on a shoestring budget
• Used practical materials and clever staging to create immersive sci-fi spaces
• Contributed to a film that earned festival recognition, including Best Oklahoma Film at deadCENTER
What we lacked in budget, we made up for in vision, collaboration, and total commitment to the film’s emotional core. This is still one of my most treasured filmmaking memories.
